Our Fresh Sardine & Herring Special Formula for Senior, Obese & Sterilized Dogs
As dogs age their metabolism rate lowers and physical activity is decreased making them more prone to obesity. Having extra weight means more stress for the joints. A food with above average protein levels with a low-fat content and low calories is preferable. Glucosamine and chondroitin are also needed to support their joints which may already be inflamed from arthritis or hip dysplasia. To cater for their sensitive stomach, we have used fish proteins in all of our Senior recipes, as fish is the easiest protein to digest. Enhancing that is the inclusion of our Pure Care digestive formula consisting of prebiotics, probiotics and Clay Minerals which aid digestion and prevent digestive upsets.
